Raw turkey is a food item that can be eaten by the player, or cooked in a furnace to make cooked turkey.
Obtaining
Raw turkey is dropped by turkeys when they die. Each turkey drops 0–2 raw turkey upon death. The maximum amount of drops can be increased by 1 per level of looting used, for a total of 0 to 4 raw turkey with Looting III. Turkeys will still drop raw turkey when killed after being set on fire.
Usage
Food
To eat raw turkey, press and hold right-click while it is selected in the hotbar. Eating one restores 3 (
) hunger and 1.8 hunger saturation, but has a chance of causing food poisoning.
Foxes and wyverns
Raw turkey is used to tame and heal foxes and heal tamed wyverns.
